So, for those who didn't know...I rocked Solange/ Janet Jackson braids for about a month. I quite enjoyed them. They were so versatile and such a great protective style. I took them out at a month because I panicked after seeing Kendra's Beauty Corner on Instagram. All is good though, my hair is intact, moisturized and healthy than ever. Video is being edited now, will be posted soon.
As we all know, Fall is upon us. This weather gives us an opportunity to continue to wear clothing from the past season, but in a warmer matter. I have taken this opportunity to layer additional pieces onto what would be considered summer attire. I added a simple Military inspired lightweight jacket with a neutral scarf.
As some of you may know, I live in Florida......so the weather is still quite hot here. Depending on you location, your can still layer, but in a different matter. For my weather I have chosen to wear a simple vintage vest to make this dress more casual.

How is everyone doing? Hope everyone's well. So what have I been up to? Nothing...smh. That has been seeming to be a problem. I have had little to no energy to continue my workouts, and I am blaming this lack of energy on my dieting habits. I rarely eat, and when I do...its something unhealthy. My solution.....JUICING!!!!!!
So....the only problem now is the expense of purchasing a juicer...anyone wanna donate to my health.....????? No????? Thought not :-(
So after watching #itsjudyslife on YouTube I realized that you do not necessarily need a juicer in order to gain the same nutrients. A blender can do a similar job, but the fiber will remain... which in my case is a benefit.
So this morning's recipe included.....
2 handfuls of spinach
1 handful of kale
1/2 a cucumber
1 apple
1 pear
1 lemon (juice)
water
a few cubes of ice
Yummers!

I'm so excited about my recent shoe purchase.
They feature a peep toe with a feminine touch of patent leather and suede material.
I find these 4 inch heels really comfortable to walk in because of the platform.
OOTD coming soon, please check back.
Shoe Carnival in Tampa, Fl is going out of business, taking this opportunity to stock up.
I'm not one to wear lipstick. I find the colors to be a bit intimidating, but the Covergirl Lipperfection packaging drew me in instantaneously! I started somewhat of a collection, trying to get them all. Below you will find a few swatches that will increase daily. These lipstick are long lasting, and do stain, which is why I cannot swatch them all in one day. Check daily for new lip colors.
I love a deal, and I'm sure you do as well. This week I stop in my local Claires and found some great items in the 10 for $10 section. Yes!!!! This set of five eyeliners was $1.00 in total! I'm still in disbelief. The original price was $9.75, and the color pay off is defintely worth it! Hope you guys can catch this sale, before it is over.
For maybe the past two weeks, or so, I have been rockin some self-made clip ins. This installation idea has saved me alot of time in my daily routines. I can take them out, and sleep comfortably and freely. I awake in the morning and clip the back in....instant hairstyle. Check it out!
